The documentation center answers the needs of teachers -researchers, students and the school staff. Among its major missions: guidance of users, the reception and the dissemination of documentation within the INPT.

The documentation center offers to its lectors:

 ·         Access to books, newspapers and journals on site in the Reading Room

 ·         Free access to the document database of the Institute (simple search or expert search)

 ·         Effective documentary researchers on the Internet

 ·         Quick and effective consultation of some CD-ROMs and other databases (on request)

 ·         Documentary advice and assistance to research

 ·         A regular selection of books recommended by teachers

 ·         Effective monitoring of the activity of the IDC (number of borrowing)

 ·         A periodic list of new acquisitions of books

 ·         Latest news IDC

 ·         The key figures of the month

 ·         Newsletter

All the books, journals and articles offered are closely related to several topics , fields and  skills that are taken into account in the different trainings offered by the INPT :

The online catalogue of documentary product offers:

The Library Catalog: catalog combining the documentary collection of the Documentation Center of the INPT (books, periodicals, multimedia ...)

The publications: Specification sheet of the publications produced internally (ESP, theses, reports  ...)

External catalogues: Catalogues of bibliographic collections covering the fields that mostly interest readers

Summary bulletin: periodic bulletin gathering all the summaries of last numbers of magazines acquired by the administrative documentary center.  

Documentation center of the INPT offers 3 types of services:

-  Services for the students: Documents lending, training and help to search for informatio

-  Services for teachers- researchers and doctorants: Documents lending, supply of documents which are not available on Exlibris, customized help to search for information.

-  Services for the exterior public (within the framework of agreements set up with the INPT) : Documents lending, customized help to search for information.

L’INPT allows its readers to access its electronic resources:

Access Intranet from the INPT for online consultation without a password, from any computer connected to INPT network, identification by recognizing the IP address of the post.

Outside INPT (Extranet): Online consultation by any user authenticated by INPT services, authentication by using identifiers of mailing account.
